Located 6,000ft above sea level, Genting SkyWorlds enjoys a unique climate of cooler temperatures and mountain breezes. Although the average temperature is 19 degrees year-round, the weather does change often (and sometimes quickly) including cloudy conditions and rain. Whilst most of our rides and attractions are designed to operate in the rain, for the safety of everyone, we may occasionally have to suspend operations of certain outdoor attractions until the inclement weather has passed.
If there is inclement weather between 11am – 2:59pm during your visit, our Rainy Day Guarantee will be activated, offering you a FREE return visit ticket to be used on your next visit. If inclement weather occurs between 3pm – 4:59pm instead, you will receive a discount of 50% off on your return visit ticket.*

Rainy Day Guarantee can only be used once per original ticket transaction. Free return tickets will only be given upon presentation of the original ticket and the Genting SkyWorlds mobile app push notification from your first visit. Incomplete requirements will be denied the free return tickets. Free return tickets only valid when it rains continuously for two hours between 11am – 2:59pm. If it rains between 3pm – 4:59pm, guests are entitled for a 50% discount on return tickets. Rain is recorded during regular Genting SkyWorlds opening hours and does not include Resorts World Genting or Genting Highlands Premium Outlet locations. Weather conditions will be recorded by Genting SkyWorlds and our decision will be final.
No cash alternative is available and tickets cannot be sold or exchanged. Rainy Day Guarantee cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion and return visit is subject to availability at time of rebooking. Should it rain on your return visit, tickets will not be transferable and no further free visits will be offered. Other products and purchases made at time of original booking are excluded (such as car parking, Skyway, Photo+, VQ).
Only tickets purchased via Genting SkyWorlds website, Resorts World Genting website and onsite Resort Box Office are applicable for our ‘Rainy Day Guarantee’. Certain ticket types such as complimentary, annual passes, multi-day, combo packages or corporate event packaged products are excluded from this offer.
